Tell Chinese name of Top Three Major Telecom Operators/Carriers
中国三大运营商（zhōng guó sān dà yùn yíng shāng）:
China’s top three major telecom operators or China top three carriers are China Telecom (CTCC), China Mobile (CMCC), and China Unicom (CUCC). They have been officially granted the 5G licenses for commercial usages in China in June of 2019. Now they have signed 5G contracts with Huawei, ZTE, Ericsson, Nokia and others for China’s 5G network deployment.
商（shāng） here as a noun in the phrase means businessman and dealer.
三大 ...（shān dà）here means the top three... When we say top three in Chinese, we could say 三大（sān dà）， the order in Chinese phrase is opposite to that in English. If we say 大三 （dà sàn），we are probably talking about the third-year of university because 大三（dà sān） in Chinese is more like the abbreviation of the Chinese phrase 大学三年级（dà xué sān nián jí）.
